GETTING STARTED GUIDELINES:
-You MUST submit your OC(s) for approval BEFORE the roleplay begins. Once it is started, you cannot add new OC(s) or join, because the story will have progressed to the point where entry and exit will be impossible.
-You may only roleplay with a maximum of 3 OCs. However, if you are in multiple Clans, you may use up to 5. Staff who are helping run the RP are allowed to use as many OCs as needed in order to help the story.
-Before you can roleplay, your OC(s) must be pre-approved by a staff member. In order to do this, please fill out the special OC form for each one you will be roleplaying with and make a single thread posting it. You will be either approved by a staff member or denied, with information why and how to fix your OC according to our rules.
-You may not make multiple threads for OC submissions. When submitting multiple OCs for staff approval, please make a single thread and title it, “[insert your name]’s OC's.” Make posts in that thread for each OC you submit and the staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
-You may ONLY submit OCs with the form we provide. Please do not use your own form with 370+ Q&A’s, or with a single sentence about your OC.
-Be patient when waiting for a staff member's approval of your OC.
-Be respectful of their opinions of your OC and cooperative if they ask you to change something. This RP is AU (meaning Alternate Universe) which means any changes me make to your OC in this RP will not be canon and cannot affect your OC anywhere else. We only ask you make changes for this RP to be in compliance with our rules and specifications.
RULES:
-No Power Playing: Your OC needs to be portrayed realistically. Everyone has a weakness, please respect and respond to that. Your OC may be strong, but do not make them overpowered to the point where they are untouchable. You will be called out if you are Power Playing.
-No God-modding: You cannot control another person’s OC, as it is unfair to them. This applies to any fights that break out within the duration of the roleplay. Also, you cannot predict how a OC will respond or reply to an action or phrase, so do not assume. You will be called out if you are God-modding.
-Follow the story: The guidelines are here to guide me along the story, not restrict you. Be creative and unique with your responses, but don’t turn the tide of the plot in a different direction. You will be called out if you are changing the plot.
-No Metagaming: You are not allowed to use any outside information in the roleplay that your OC(s) wouldn't know. Unless a piece of information has been stated and/or it is prior knowledge for EVERYONE, you cannot use it in the roleplay. you will be called out for this.
-No shortcut magic: You will be required to make descriptions of your OC’s prior to beginning the roleplay. You are not allowed to come up with a magic or skill that they didn’t have in le first place to aid you in your roleplay. We will be monitoring this, and will call you out if you use shortcut magic. (Example: your friend is hurt, but you are not a healer, so you decide that your OC is suddenly a healer to help them)
-If you have been called out: once; you will be given a warning. If you have been called out twice, the post breaking the rule will be deleted. Once you have been called out 3 times, you will either A) not be allowed to participate in roleplay or B) you will not be allowed to roleplay that specific OC.
-If your OC dies, they’re dead: End of story. No questions. They cannot no revived in this AU, but they are still alive in older incarnations within your Clan. Kiraban is it’s own world, so whatever happens within it stays within it. In The Kiraban Siege, whatever happens in that roleplay will stay in that roleplay. However, in future Kiraban roleplays, you can ask a staff member if you can use an OC that died in a previous Kiraban roleplay.
-By Extention, if All of Your Characters Die, You're Out: Yep, you heard us. No revivals, and no re-entries. 1 shot with 3 (or more) OCs and if you lose them all, then sorry. You can join in on the next RP!
-When moving between location threads; post a link to the thread you are moving to in your last reply. Also, upon beginning your role-play in the new thread, post a link to the previous thread so people can navigate where you're coming from.
-Do not Role-play a character in more than one thread; Your character cannot be in two places at once, so don't role-play on more than one thread at a time. If you want to move locations, follow the previous rule and hop threads. Make sure it's convenient however, and do not continually hop locations! Remain with your chosen thread for at least one day before moving locations.
-No Random Fandom/Outside-of-Clan-Community inclusions to the roleplay IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, or FORM; Garden Clan I'm looking at you.
-NO CIRCLEJERKING - Definition ; Garden Clan I'm looking at you (Part 2).
